Book Review: 101 Ways To Get & Keep His Attention

Some months back, i bought some books of which i promised you guys i'm going to post the reviews here. I've actually been so busy with everything or perhaps lazy to read them (even though i keep buying other books i've not read which i believe i'd create time to read them soon). I've tried to make a review of this particular book but wasn't able to finish up. I came across some excerpts from the book of which i felt i should share with you.

Let him be a partner with you in your dreams. Set goals together. In this world where independence is applauded, many men feel as if they are on the outside looking in. Don’t just harbor your dreams, share them. Allow him to be your lighthouse, guiding you toward your destination. The taste of mutual success is sweet. Make him a part of your success, and he will applaud you. Leave him outside of your aspirations, and he will resent your accomplishments.

In the same fashion, encourage his dreams and partner with him in them. Dreams, like secrets, are conspiratorial in nature. They bind two people together. Remember that a helpmeet is a woman who is equipped with everything her man needs to help him complete his God-given assignment in life. Single and married women alike must be cognizant of this and learn to have the man in their life share his dreams. This is an important component of friendship as well as courtship. As you fill this slot in his life, his heart will be drawn to you – the woman who helps him make his dreams come true.
Be his dreamweaver, cultivate his dreams to life blend your touch into the fabric of his deepest longings. This is the secret to remaining the woman of his dreams.

NEED or WANT???

We are saddled with responsibilities. Always want to meet up with that budget just to have it or perhaps satisfy our cravings(at times not considering the scale of preference). Have we at a point ever asked ourselves if what we desire at that moment is “a want” or “need”?.
Most times, we tend to magnify our want over need. Thereby, ignoring the real necessities OF life.
Eeerm, have you heard that S5 is out?, I really must get it, ignoring the fact that (s)he just got a Q5 two months ago.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s this slight difference between being a gadget freak and wanting everything in a silly way. I mean sense is really needed particularly when it comes to dealing with spending money.
Thereby , getting carried away doing the wrong thing at the wrong time and all we’d end up hearing is the testimony of how easy life is (ironically) because we didn’t rule our budget out according to the scale of preference but because of our want which at times, emerges as a result of coveting other people’s things not considering what is at stake.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying you shouldn't get all you want, but the application of our Number 6 is necessarily important(pick either necessary or important, english won't turn me crazy)  .

JOIE DE VIVRE

Joie De Vivre is a French phrase used to express a cheerful enjoyment of life; an exultation of spirit. I came across this word while reading “Secrets of an irresistible woman” by Michelle McKinney Hammond and since then, I saved it in my hard disk drive upstairs.
Back to the matter, Joiedevivre is an ability to love life to its fullest and to reflect this in both personality and deed.  LIFE itself is great in so many crazy ways, it just has this perfect way of unleashing its stunts crazily but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t find a better thing out of the ishes in LIFE. Trust me, i've had some lil share outta it
Unfortunately, this naija wey we dey, the hustle and bustle of life has worn most of us down to a pile of complaints to the extent that all we see is the less joyful side of things.  Everybody is really trying to meet up that target but that doesn’t restrict you from celebrating LIFE itself.
Irregardless of whatever you’re passing through, find joy in the little things that matter. You slept last night and you wake up hale and hearty, my guy, thank the Lord.

IMPACT!!!

I was privileged to attend a Seminar organized by 'House of Tara" last weekend and i was touched when i watched the clip of 100 voices.
That prompted me to ask myself 'what i really want". Is my existence on earth "to be" or "to do". Now get this right, i wanna be successfull, you also wanna be a success story but have you asked yourself "if you want to keep telling that success story all by yourself or impact in people's life for them to tell your story.
If you are asked to make three wishes that'd be fulfilled. In that good mind of yours, would three of those wishes be about you or one of the trio(wishes) be for others?.
Of course, most of us would fall under the category of the former(me xef join).  Let's hit ourselves with the truth, causing a change by impacting in a person's life is like nurturing a garden that'd spring forth beautiful flowers. Don't just strive towards being a success story but aim at IMPACTING positively in people's life.
